The Energy Efficient Building Materials Directory for India (BMDI) tool is an informative tool to describe the energy performance of building materials; this tool enables consumers the necessary information to make energy-efficient buildings.

This tool allows consumers to compare energy-efficient building materials to make an informed choice. It shows the relative energy-saving, monetary saving and CO2 mitigation of a product compared to other registered products.
